Okonomiyaki Flour Mix


The special flour for making Okonomiyaki, there is no secret, without this flour, you will not be able to make delicious Okonomiyaki!


Recipe for OKONOMIYAKI (2 pieces)


・Mixed Okonomiyaki flour ・・・ 100g (1/2 bag)

・Water・・・ 100ml (Room temperature)


・Cabbage・・・300g (Half the size of a medium cabbage)

    Prepare in cubes of about 5mm x 5mm

・The ingredients of your choice・・・100g combined

    Cut them into pieces so that they can be easily mixed into the dough.

・A little oil

・A large bowl

(Standard Okonomiyaki) Squid, Shrimp, Pork, Tenkasu, Ginger with vinegar

(Example 1) Bacon, Onion, Tomato, Shredded cheese

(Example 2) Potato, Shellfish, Broccoli, Sausage, Shredded cheese


(For the Plancha, set to 200℃ / For the pan, preheat to medium view before cooking)

1. Make the dough

Put water and Flour Mix in a bowl and mix well with a whisk.

(The texture is a bit heavy)

(Do not put egg yet)

2. Mix the dough and ingredients together just before baking

Add cabbage, egg and your favorite ingredients and mix gently.

(If you mix it just before baking, it will be softer and more delicious).

3. Bake the dough

Lightly grease a preheated griddle or skillet

Pour half of the dough into a round shape and bake at 200 degrees for about 4 minutes.

(For the pan, cook on low to medium heat for about 4 minutes).

4. Turn over

Once the dough is turned over, cover it and bake at for about 5 minutes.

5. Turn over again

Remove the cover, turn it over again and let it cook for 1 minute.

6. To finish

When the Okonomiyaki is ready, apply sauce or mayonnaise on it, and top it with dried bonito flakes and green seaweed.
